(Orlando, FL) – On August 18, 2017 Riptide Software announced their participation in the newly-formed IEEE Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for the Experience API (xAPI).
The IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization for the advancement of technology and the TAG xAPI group aims to create an IEEE reference and implementation guide for xAPI 1.0.3.
Riptide Software has been an active contributor to xAPI and was part of the founding group which created it. Nick Washburn, Learning Division Director, quotes that “we have been involved with xAPI from the very beginning and we’re looking forward to continuing our contribution to the specification and adoption.” The group has weekly, online-based community meetings that anyone is welcome to participate in.
