The Live Training Transformation (LT2) Portal provides the LT2 community with access to LT2 Product Line software and all associated documentation. The LT2 Portal provides security, configuration management, file sharing, searching, reporting, metrics, collaborative development areas, and management of LT2 assets.
LT2 Portal Details
The Live Training Transformation (LT2) portal is a web-enabled interface to the assets comprising the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) LT2 Product Line and the LT2 Family of Training Systems. The LT2 portal provides the LT2 user community with current news, documents, training, glossary, and help desk support including issue tracking, FAQs, forums, and tutorials. LT2 developers have access to LT2 products, architectures, ICDs, components, documents, collaboration groups, on-line courses and more. The LT2 portal also provides PEO STRI oversight through program metrics, reports, schedules, and requirements tracking.
The LT2 portal is built upon the PEO STRI-developed Common Portal Engine (CPE) which provides a ready-to-use web portal framework with numerous pluggable capabilities for displaying web content. The LT2 portal uses the CPE’s built-in web site, user account, and content management features along with role-based security, file management, task scheduler, automated menu creation, and hierarchical navigation.
