Description
As a Software Engineer you will participate in the development and maintenance of instrumented range software.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Design and development
- Unit and system testing
- Analysis and documentation
- Deployment and production support
Qualifications
- Strong GUI Development background using C# with Visual Studio
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time across multiple projects
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Disciplined approach to maintaining and adhering to engineering standards and best practices
- Willing to travel as needed
- Active clearance or ability to get a clearance
- Ability to work closely with project stakeholders and effectively elicit requirements
- Ability to translate requirements into robust and cost-effective technical solutions
- Ability to deliver on time according to requirements and business needs
- Attention to detail
- Ability to complete tasks on time and within budget in a climate of frequent change
- Ability to perform effectively with minimal management oversight
Experience Required
- 3+ years of full-time/hands-on C# development experience with application programming – high level and low level
- 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience
- 2+ years of Java development with application programming
- Integration experience with software to software and software to hardware
- Experience with commercial code and release management tools (Clearcase) is strongly desired
- Oracle is strongly desired
Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
