Description
This mid-level position supports the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of project or operations based work. The developer should have or be in the process of gaining expert knowledge of content management systems, Templates, applications, file and backend systems. A developer should have should have expert level front end development skills. Troubleshooting is a required skill set. The developer should be capable of leading the technical aspects of initiatives lasting a few days to a few weeks. Critical thinking, documentation, communication, and pride in work.
Qualifications
- Strong Internet technologies background including: HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, PHP, ASP, JSP, ASP.NET, XML, CMS Systems
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design including Use Case analysis and Object Modeling using UML
- Strong SQL Server skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Requirements analysis and design abilities combined with strong development skills.
- Ability to deliver on time according to requirements and business needs
- Attention to detail
- Ability to identify problems and opportunities and champion solutions
- Ability to complete tasks on time and within budget in a climate of frequent change
- Ability to work on a team and independently with little supervision.
Experience Required
- 3+ years working with C#, .Net Framework, OOA, OOD and CORBA programming
- Experience with Object Oriented development (3+ years required) required
- 2+ years experience working with SQL Server
- Experience in developing applications for Army simulation and training desired.
- Experience with DotNetNuke is a plus!!
Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
