Security Engineering
The Information Assurance process starts at program inception with sound security engineering processes put into practice by Riptide on every project we support. Certification & Accreditation
From program inception to final accreditation, Riptide Software will insure all IA milestones are met and your program is on track to meet its certification and accreditation timeline. Riptide’s process works equally well for small stand alone environments or complex multi-tier data simulation systems. Riptide’s IA team has the expertise and the proven past performance to prepare your information system for certification and accreditation. We design defense in depth solutions which provide robust layers of security in full satisfaction of Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8500.2, DoDI 8510.1(DIACAP), FIPS, and numerous other governmental regulations. Compliance Testing
Riptide Software’s IA engineers provide pre certification services to our clients. Riptide will review and test all IA controls applicable to your information system. Riptide then delivers a comprehensive report which highlights results from automated tools such as Gold Disk, Retina, and DISA System Readiness Review (SRR) scripts. We also review the information systems DIACAP documentation to insure all applicable IA controls for the system under test are identified and addressed. Lastly, Riptide delivers a residual risk report which contains detailed information regarding any component which may fail to meet requirements, and a remediation plan to achieve success for an upcoming certification test and evaluation (CT&E).
System Hardening
Riptide Software delivers DIACAP compliant systems with options for custom STIG templates based on system operational requirements. Our system expertise ranges from small stand alone environments to complex multi-tier data simulation systems.
Reaccreditation
Information systems must undergo reaccreditation three years from the date of accreditation. Riptide software assists clients in updating software, hardware, and DIACAP documentation to insure the system under test is prepared for reaccreditation.
